SCOPE :

Technical Trainer 2 Mechanical

The workshop technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Training equipment in the workshop assigned to him assisting the instructor in all workshop delivery materials and managing all store duties.

Job Purpose:

Customs Training and Development Consultant

Provide consultancy and expertise services to SPSP Management in the area of Customs learning and development.

The role focuses on operations, strategy, management, performance, and best practices worldwide in the field.

Functional Duties :

Customs Training and Development Consultant

– Experienced in international customs laws and regulations.

– developing customs training programs.

– Experienced the Saudi Arabia Customs Rules, Regulations, and common law

– Provide worldwide best practices of the Customs personal learning and development plan.

– Introduce international accreditation and certification for the Customs profession at various levels and areas.

– Work with the project team and client towards achieving all Customs project milestones.

– Use of all Microsoft applications.

– Must have excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English language.

– Must have a professional approach to dealing with others.

– Perform any other duties as reasonably required by SPSP Management in the area of Customs training.

Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum)

-International customs certification or equivalent Professional.

Experience (minimum)

Over 20+ years in the Customs personal training and development.

The Instructor is responsible for teaching all aspects of the Technical Training programs assigned to him (Classroom and Workshop), materials development, and managing his program The Instructor is also the assessor for his programs.

SPECIFIC DUTIES :

HSE Instructor

– Lead the classroom development and ongoing maintenance of all training programs, course materials (theoretical and practical), procedures, and assessments to satisfy the client and Awarding Body requirements
– Conduct training programs related to Health and Safety
– Assist the senior instructor in selecting and recruiting a suitable team of technicians.
– Ensure that the equipment in the workshops and laboratories is suitable and adequate in number to complement the training and assessment.
– Assist in identifying and sourcing suitable redundant equipment from Operating Companies for training purposes.
– Assist in developing written and performance tests for assessing specialized training programs.
– Present PowerPoint presentations to company staff on nonteaching days.
– Deliver Training
– Assess trainee portfolios to the agreed External Verifier and Awarding Body standards
– Assist in the training, development, and certification of trainees as NVQ Assessors.
– Ensure the standards of all programs he is responsible for are maintained.
– In coordination with the Senior Instructor, implement a suitable Assessment, Internal Verification, and Quality Assurance system to meet Awarding Body requirements and ensure that the quality of the programs is maintained.
– Implement policies and procedures to ensure Quality Control is managed professionally and effectively.
– Develop and manage teaching and assessment schedules.
– Discipline the trainees he is responsible for when required.
– Coach and train technicians where required.
– Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
– Be active in suggesting ways of continually improving the training programs.
– Uphold the SPSP Quality Policy.
– Any other duties as reasonably required by SPSP Management.
– Level of Supervisory Responsibilities: It is not a supervisory position but may be assigned to lead projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

– High school diploma, or associates in a relevant field.
– NEBOSH National or International General certificate (Level 3) in Occupational Health and Safety, or an equivalent recognized qualification in health and safety, as well as a qualification in operational Oil and Gas safety.
– Membership with a professional body (IOSH, OSHA, or any professional body) is preferred at a level that reflects the Tutor’s qualifications.
– The candidates should have experience in operational safety in Oil and Gas or/and construction safety besides compliance with OSHA Standards and/or best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

– Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or post-graduates (Master/PhD).
– Hold a NEBOSH National or International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or an equivalent recognized qualification in health and safety, as well as a qualification in operational Oil and Gas safety.
– Membership with a professional body (Grad-IOSH) is preferred at a level that reflects the Tutor’s qualifications.
– Have experience in operational safety in Oil and Gas and/or construction safety besides compliance with OSHA Standards and/or best practices.
– More than 5 years of training or teaching experience.

Academic EFL Key Skills Instructor

• Teaching English language curriculum to SPSP trainees
• Working with other team members to prepare resources for the foundation program including, but not limited to, revision materials, test question banks, or other remedial resources
• Monitoring student progress and analyzing test results to address weak areas
• Conducting remedial and/or make-up lessons
• Invigilation of exams
• Substituting other faculty members in cases of absence
• Following and encouraging trainees to follow SPSP rules and regulations
• Preparing and implementing lesson plans and following prescribed pacing schedules for the curriculum
• Attending  team meetings as required
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Willing to help others and meet staff and student needs and is ready to follow directions
• Initiative: Seeks to learn and recognize work procedures and policies and know how to locate information
• Reliability and independence
• Utilizes and collaborates with SPSP departments e.g. operations, support services, and student affairs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field i.e. TESOL, TEFL, or Education
• Recognized teaching certificate i.e. CELTA
• IELTS 7.0 or equivalent (Bilingual only)
• 3 years in a teaching role, preferably in a vocational or higher education institution
• Experience in a technical context is  desirable

• Teaching Mathematics curriculum to SPSP trainees
• Working with other team members to prepare resources for the Mathematics program including, but not limited to, revision materials, test question banks, or other remedial resources
• Monitoring student progress and analyzing test results to address weak areas
• Conducting remedial and or make-up lessons
• Marking and Invigilating exams
• Substitution of other faculty members in cases of absence
• Following and encouraging trainees to follow SPSP rules and regulations
• Preparing lesson plans and following prescribed pacing schedules for the curriculum

Academic Maths Instructor

• BA or BSc Mathematics
• IELTS Band 6 or TOEFL 550 or equivalent
• 3 years in a teaching role preferably in a vocational or higher education institution
• Experience in a technical context is desirable

• Willing to help others and to meet staff and student needs and is ready to follow directions.

Job Purpose :

Technical Assessor – Crane Heavy Equipment Rigging

To conduct Performance Assessments of Contractor’s Staff as part of a pre-screening process for working on Saudi Aramco projects.

The Technical Assessor is responsible for the development, implementation, reporting, and analysis of all certifications as assigned.

Working as part of the Certification Team the Technical Assessor will ensure that the written/performance sections of the certifications are developed and maintained as per the company policy for the following disciplines; Rigging, Crane Operator, and Heavy Equipment Operator.

• Cary out Heavy Equipment Performance Assessment for H.E, for instance (Telehandler, Traxcavator, Wheel Loader, Pipe Loader, Straddle Carrier, Forklift, Skid Loader, Backhoe Loader, Grader, Bulldozer Side Boom, ….)

Functional Duties :

Technical Assessor – Crane Heavy Equipment Rigging

1. Assist in developing written and practical assessments in their field of expertise.
2. Ensure that all assessments are completed efficiently and professionally.
3. Complete the analysis of all assessments.
4. Take on Mentoring responsibilities as required.
5. Assist with QA Audits.
6. Assist with Policy and Procedural reviews and development.
7. Uphold the SPSP Quality Assurance Policy.

Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum) :

• Technical qualifications or diploma in the relevant craft/subject.
• Assessor (A1 or equivalent) Award by Awarding Body.
• Certified in specific areas of expertise: Heavy Equipment, Cranes, and/or Rigging.
• Fluent in English. (Reading/Writing)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs to intermediate level.

Professional Experience (minimum) :

• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial experience in a specific role.
• 3 years of experience as instructor/teacher.
• 3 years of experience in assessing/assessment role.
• Knowledge of Training/Assessment development would be an advantage.
