Structural Engineer

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage a project with oversight from proposal phase to construction administration.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates
  • Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections
  • Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering

Technical Guidance and Services :

Environmental Engineer

  • Provide comprehensive regulatory and technical expertise to develop and implement major environmental programs
  • Develops strategies for managing complex or sensitive environmental issues related to specific plant operations, business, and corporate initiatives in all compliance and responsible environmental management areas pertinent to the power and desalination sector.
  • Provides environmental expertise, guidance, and support to plants to assist in maintaining regulatory compliance and achieving environmental objectives.
  • Identifies opportunities and takes actions to implement cost reductions related to environmental compliance and sustainable growth.
  • Supports environmental activities for major capital projects and other plant investments.

Works under the direction of the Maintenance Manager to plan & supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance, monthly /annual outages,e and overhauling work activities on plant mechanical equipment.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities :

-To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arranging strategic spares availability to cope with the maintenance requirements.

-Acquires considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant systems throughout the plant and applies the same to troubleshoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issues.

-Executes work orders through CMMS (SAP) and coordinates with maintenance engineer for job completion and technical matters.

-To apply mechanical craft, techniques, processes, and principles and be responsible for all necessary preparation required to carry out mechanical maintenance to equipment/area assigned to him.

– Report to his Forman for spare parts and consumables in his area to update his availability to cope with the maintenance requirements.

– Perform routine, corrective,e, and preventive maintenance of plant equipment, repair, lubrication,n and cleaning of machines and tools, and mechanical, electrical,l, and hydraulic systems as per the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor/ Foreman.

-Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard risk assessment are carried out, controlled,d, and updated.

-Implement, monitor, and report IMS objectives, Targets, and programs.

-Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS.

-Report IMS performance to the management periodically.

-Ensure Legal compliance concerning their scope of activities.
