Audit and observe all QHSE-related activities and policies within a location including remote sites to ensure that activities comply with the company policies, standards & applicable local laws.
We are implementing, and improving the QHSE system, programs, and procedures and keeping records of all Quality, Health, safety,y and Environment-related documents ISO 9001, HACPP, ISO 22000, and ISO 45001 of a location.
Ensures operations are conducted safely and efficiently and in conformance to SACC policies, procedures, manuals, and client requirements.
Overall responsible for conducting Hygiene, Food Safety & QHSE audits, and inspections in all locations (including remote sites) to ensure that activities comply with the company policies, standards & applicable local laws.
Responsible for safety, ensuring a safe place of work, documenting and reviewing risk assessments, maintaining the accident record book, and ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.
Engage effectively with all stakeholders.
Ongoing review, implementation, and auditing of the management system to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant legislation.
Coordinating and conducting internal QHSE audits ensuring non-conformances are closed out as per agreed timescales.
Generation and issue of safety alerts and the company’s monthly QHSE newsletters.
Reporting and analysis of non-conformities, accidents, and hazardous occurrences and promoting incident prevention
Assist and conduct the development and presentation of relevant QHSE training (toolbox talks and inductions)
Perform additional QHSE-related projects as assigned.

Specialist QHSE

Skills :

Ab le to implement the requirements QHSE function.
Sound knowledge of Hygiene & Food Safety & HACCP.
Able to set and conduct Hygiene and food Safety and QHSE inspection and implementation.
Extensive understanding of quality assurance, health and safety, environmental management, and security management.
In-depth understanding of international standards and procedures and making appropriate decisions based on this knowledge.
Good knowledge of reporting.

Qualifications :

– Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, or Food Science.
– 2-3 Years Experience
– Advanced English level proficiency (Level 4)

JOB PURPOSE:

Maintenance Manager

To lead the maintenance function within the plant and manage the inspection, monitoring, and repair of all assets/facilities to maintain optimum plant integrity and reliability by contractual agreements, NOMAC’s guidelines, and HSSE standards, whilst ensuring uninterrupted plant operations and effective upkeep of assets.

 

Strategy & Plans :

Maintenance Manager

Develop the Maintenance-departmental strategy in line with the Plant’s strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across.
Regularly report to the Plant General Manager on the operational activities of the department, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to keep them informed and updated on the division’s activities.
People Management
Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team, and providing formal and informal feedback to maximize overall performance, engagement, and motivation.
Budget Management
Contribute to the preparation of the Maintenance department’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
Maintenance Planning
Led and managed the planning of preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance plans/work schedules (including annual and long-term maintenance plans) for all types of maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, and I&C) across the facilities in the plant ensuring that maintenance jobs are carried out timely, efficiently and cost-effective with adherence to HSE standards.
Lead the effective cascading of the maintenance strategy into work instructions and SOPs for each equipment and process in all areas of mechanical, electrical, instrumental, controls, and systems and ensure their implementation by employees and contract staff, to ensure safe and timely maintenance of equipment.

Maintenance Manager

 

Maintenance Management :

Lead the effective implementation of approved plans in liaison with the discipline engineers and operations team across all the assets and equipment within set timelines and budget to facilitate uninterrupted operations.
Oversee the equipment risk assessment process to facilitate proactive identification of anomalies and ensure optimum risk mitigation by best practices.
Manage the timely response to all emergency breakdowns and provide prompt corrective action to ensure plant availability, thereby minimizing downtime and the possibility of liquidity damages.
Oversee the maintenance documentation process in SAP ensuring it is completed correctly including filling in the log, outlining the fault, method of repair, and the time, labor, and materials used to support the timely availability of information.

 

Related Assignments :

Perform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.

 

COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:
Needs to work closely with Senior Management, Maintenance Engineers, Operations Team, HSE, Procurement Team, HR team, Finance Team Storekeeper, etc.
External:
Needs to build a rapport with vendors, OEMs, contractors, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

 

Minimum Experience:

12-15 years of experience in a similar environment with a few years in a managerial position preferably within the Power / Water generation sector.
Experience developing/implementing preventive and predictive maintenance processes is highly desirable.

 

Skills :

In-depth knowledge of downtime analysis and knowledge of problem-solving tools

Detailed understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance theory

Strong mentoring, coaching, and people management skills

In-depth knowledge of the operations in water desalination and power generation plants and NOMAC operations

People Management

Shift Supervisor

 Supervise the activities and work of the team members to ensure that production targets and objectives are achieved and the operational plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures, and systems.

 

Operations Management :

Supervise the day-operatorsof shift operators and manage all plant operating activities (E.g. interlock checks on start-ups, Shutdowns, emergencies, equipment  protection protectandn tests,andddd nonactivitiesctivities like preservation, acid  ,leaning,   Suri ensuring they are executed safely and efficiently srational operational area meets required targets.

Have a complete understanpermit-to-workrmit-to-work system applied tissues andnt acancel permits cancel permits to work as per authorization.

Normalize the equipment after release and perform necessary testing to check the equipment or system after maintenance.

Organise and plan the activities in such a way that work is carried out to the required standard with minimum rismachanand materialsacCsCterdinatenate.

Coordinate with all other departments for activities that are related to plant operations during the shift and ensure their timely execution as per the plan.

 

Technical Guidance :

Address issues escalated bandand provides and provide timely resolutions, where possible, to achieve continuous operations.

Ensure regular inspections are conducted during the shift to identify abnormhaha hahaporderrds   azards,  safeunsafe conditions, and take appropriate actions within the established guidelines to correct the same.

Act as the issuing authority, preparing permits to ensure all the work execution requirements are ito carry out workried out safely.

 

Maintenance Support :

Oversee and manage the commissioning and start-up activishift operating with the approved operating procththe maintenanceinate with Maintenance team during the shift andminor/majorany minor/major activcomplete the safely safely, as per the established plan.

 

Documentation :

Ensure plant operational status is communicated both verbally and in writing at all shift change-overs, and that all documentation for the plant activities including the log book and status reports are completed accurately.

 

Health, Safety, Security & Environment :

Monitor the adheenvironmentalen tal health,, safety, security,  and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

Ensure th,at all accident duringcidents, or near misses occurring during the shift are properly reported as per established procedures.

Manage an emergency during the shift as per the company emergency response plan until relietogher authority, to ensure minimum impact of the hazard.

 

Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures :

Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standraidedting proc driedes, and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor degree holder in Engineering / Technical Diploma in Engineering

 

Minimum Experience:

6 years experience in power and water desalination in a plant environment with a Technical Diploma, the number of years needed would be at least 10 years.

 

 

Skills:

Knowledge of relevant plant equipment
SAP working knowledge is preferred
Knowledge of good house-keeping of the plant
ISO9001, 14001; OHSAS 18001 awareness/working knowledge is preferred

– Develop and manage teaching and assessment schedules.
– Discipline the trainees he is responsible for when required.
– Coach and train technicians where required.
– Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
– Be active in suggesting ways of continually improving the training programs.
– Uphold the SPSP Quality Policy.
– Any other duties as reasonably required by SPSP Management.
– Level of Supervisory Responsibilities: It is not a supervisory position but may be assigned to lead projects.
