Functional Duties:
  • Guard entrances and exits of the company, by checking the identity of the company employees, contractors, and visitors and prevent unauthorized people from entering any place in the company and arrest those who are found there without a legitimate reason. In addition to that handles the visitors’ entries through the assigned gates.
  • Facilitate work orders among his shift group and ensure availability and readiness of all security equipment in his work locations and maintain good Housekeeping for the workplace. And generate a daily report for all activities.
  • Checking vehicle permits, receiving vehicles carrying on materials including samples and borrowed tools, and checking the materials loaded and official documents as well as preventing unauthorized vehicles from entering the company and protecting company assets from sabotage, damage, or thefts. In addition to that, he should use high-technology security and access control equipment (e.g.: x-ray, explosive detector ..etc.).
  • Reporting any unusual situations not covered by the security procedure to his direct supervisor.  In the case that it is not possible he should handle the situation with reason and good judgment. Moreover, he should monitor the security men at his work location in order to enforce the security and safety programs efficiently and escalate any serious issues relating to the conduct or capability of security men working at his work location to the security supervisor for action, giving full details of the matter.
  • Patrolling the areas specified by the security supervisor at regular intervals either by vehicle or on foot, and reports incidents and unsafe or abnormal conditions. May be required to submit detailed written report.
  • Receive, keep and deliver lost items or missing items found by the security men or employees of the company and forward it to Security Department.
  • Responds and reacts to chemical hazard warnings, incidents, emergencies, and disasters and demonstrate his role as per security department Procedures.
  • Participates in security drills as well as firefighting drills as per his emergency response role and attend and participate in critique meetings.
  • Complies with the safety procedures
  • Maintain his personal safety when he is on duty.  He should not commit risk acts and should not hesitate to ask for help whenever needed.
Skills
  • Diploma in related field / Good English
  • 5 years’ experience in relevant job
  • Excellent communications, diplomacy skills

Job Summary:

Field operator – RO Desalination

Monitor the Operation parameters of the system locally and coordinate with the CCR Operatorregardingo all related activities that affect operation.

Responsible for safe start up/shut down of the plant as per the Standard Operating Procedures.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be familiar with the fire equipment in his area.

Follow the instructions of the Shift Supervisor and CCR Operator.

2 Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor and with other Operatorsregardingo all activities that affect them. Monitor all parameters and enter periodic readings on log sheets. Summarize all activities/events that took place during his shift in the log book.
3 Inspect the area and auxiliaries during the shift to make sure that all equipment parameters are within limits. Report abnormalities to the CCR Operator and Shift Supervisor.
4 Perform equipment changeover according to preset schedules. Raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment.
5 Coordinate with the Shift supervisor for isolating and lining up the equipment and system before and after maintenance. Maintain a tidy work area and ensure clean up after maintenance work.
6 Assist in the training and familiarization of new local تحليه المياه operators.

8 Use proper PPEs and implement prescribed risk controls
9 Report deviations in Quality, Health, and safety management system

People Management :

Mechanical Supervisor

  • Supervise the activities and work of the team members to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures, and systems.

 

Maintenance Management :

Mechanical Supervisor

  • Assign resources for the scheduled preventative maintenance/breakdown and major repair jobs to enable optimal functionality of mechanical machinery in line with quality standards and provide timely completion of all jobs while reporting any deviations to the Mechanical Engineer for action.
  • Test and validate the condition of machines upon completion of repairs to confirm readiness in compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform inspections regularly to follow up on the work progress of all mechanical engineering aspects ensuring that work progress is carried out as per the approved work schedule and appropriate resources are allocated while highlighting any non-conformances to the Mechanical Engineer to ensure prompt action.
  • Review and analyze maintenance data and associated costs to identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost optimization.
  • Participate in the modifications to existing machinery; assist the Mechanical Engineer in the preparation of preliminary submissions including technical specifications and materials for modifications together with accompanying drawings, process diagrams, and cost estimates.

Mechanical Supervisor

 

Outage Management :
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of the annual outage maintenance of critical mechanical equipment, as per the recommendation of the OEM, and provide technical support to ensure the EHS, scope, cost, and timeline objectives are met.

 

Documentation :
  • Ensure that all maintenance documentation for the mechanical activities is completed in SAP correctly including the Maintenance Log, outlining the fault, method of repair, and the time, labor, and materials used to support the timely availability of information.

 

Health, Safety, Security & Environment  :
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

 

Inventory Management :
  • Monitor the spare parts requirement for the Mechanical maintenance activities, and facilitate the procurement of stocks to ensure accurate and timely availability and replenishment of the required stock.

 

Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures :
  • Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.

Fire Fighter Team Leader

To lead the fire team and carry out the emergency preparedness of Emergency Response procedures and equipment of the power/desalination plant to ensure readiness when needed.

 

Technical :

Fire Fighter Team Leader

  • Ensure 100% safety and occupational health of the people in the power or desalination plant as well as the safety of operations, company assets, and the environment through proper planning, inspection, monitoring, follow-up, and resolution of all HSE-related matters and issues, in particular Fire Safety and Training.
  • Achieve 100% emergency preparedness.
  • Ensure that all equipment is functioning and ready for use at any given time.
  • Complete maintenance activities on the firefighting equipment according to monthly/yearly plan.
  • Maintain a record of all firefighting equipment inspection and testing records.
  • Ensure monthly fire inspections are conducted at various locations in the plant as planned and communicate findings with the line managers concerned.
  • Maintain a complete record of all emergency response equipment.
  • Ensure that all hazardous materials are correctly stored.
  • Perform any related task as assigned by the Site HSSE department.
