Business risk control unit Manager
– Review and strengthen RCSAs for Administration and Procurement functions
– Perform periodical checks on the activities performed by the teams based on the RCSA/CRSA & KRI’s for all units.
– Review current procedures to ensure segregation of duties and adequate control framework is embedded.
– Review all past audit findings and validate current controls to avoid any repeat findings
– Execute control testing program in compliance with GIB’s Internal Control Testing Framework.
– Conduct monthly BRCC (Business Risk & Control Committee) meetings and awareness sessions for the department staff.
– Review areas flagged as high risk in department KRIs and report any deviation to Head Departments
– Prepare responses (Accept/Reject) for Operation Risk Events & submit them to the Head of Business Risk & Control Unit for review prior to submission to the concerned departments.
– Review contracts to validate all VRM requirements have been followed/complied
– Investigate incidents and provide reports with root causes & remedial actions.
– Validate approved authority matrix across all Operations units.
– Review the departmental SLAs and ensure all are updated & adhered to and escalate any observation to the Head of the Department
– Perform a monthly surprise check certificate & ensure the monthly proof is conducted by the concerned team.
Skills

– An understanding of the banking industry
– Excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English
– Good interpersonal skills as the job requires much interaction with other areas of the GIB.
