Job Description

Senior Remedial Account Manager

1. Manage a portfolio of allocated SAU accounts, including conducting the ongoing review (strategic/financial) of each account, with changes to be formalized through updates to SAU strategy documents.

2. Implement and execute the approved special assets unit’s strategy.

3. At the time of account migration (to SAU), manage (a) due diligence on the legal, transaction, and operational documentation, and (b) detailed financial review, of the concerned account, and subsequently arrange approval of the SAU strategy from SAU Credit Committee

4. Pro-active search for advantageous workout solutions, subject to SAU credit committee approval

5. Subject to ongoing periodic review, agree on projected recovery levels and projected recovery timeframes for each allocated account with SAU Head, as the main performance objective

6. Manage the preparation of the Account Profile Sheet for each account at the time of migration, and ensure it is updated periodically

7. Keep senior management informed of key developments with respect to each NPL account (through call memos and memos to the credit committee, as the case may be)

8. Implement and execute a litigation strategy in relation to any SAU account, in coordination with GIB Legal Unit (and/or external legal counsel, as the case may be) for ongoing legal advice, case preparation work, etc., at all times ensuring a smooth working relationship

9. Manage preparation and submission of periodic Classification (and Watch-list, if alternatively required) reports for each NPL account

10. Manage inter-action with all external counter-parties (clients, steering committees, creditors, legal counsels – GIB and/or client, consultants – GIB and/or client, government entities, etc.) with an emphasis on timely collection of relevant information to enable GIB to remain ahead of the market
